For me it has taken around five. Three yesterday and my second of the night is halfway through. The ways I sees it, There is hardly a difference in Ubuntu Server and Desktop. So, I am re-installing Gutsy Gibbon. I just tested Xubuntu… and I hated it. Severely. Oh well. My plans for my box are as follows: SSH, AMP, iptables and snort, resumable vnc sessions, possible mail server. Hmmm. So, step 1 is to install Gibbon Desktop. Install the ssh server and run all needed updates. After that I am gonna try to vnc thing. It is the only thing i don’t wanna do via ssh. That is how I do most of the work on it anywho. Via ssh. Alright. Later Guys. oh. Hit me up on the twitter. mjnbrn
::edit::
I lied. I have test on snort tomorrow. so, ssh first, snort second. updates can hold until I grok snort
peace out.
